There is the possibility that the Council will grant the Mt Victoria community a significant amount of money to buy Crossways subject to the project being financially sustainable.
To ensure that the Council hears about the importance for Saving Crossways we encourage as many people as possible to make an on-line submission using the Council's website outlining your views on whether the community should be granted the money.
The submission should be made under the Social & Recreation heading. The Council would be in a position to consider a request for a contribution towards the purchase of Crossways if the Community Trust is able to make an offer to the Presbyterian Church during the year. If Crossways is lost from the community the Council grant should be available to assist the relocation of user groups, including the Crossways Community Crèche.

Submissions are due 19 May, and oral submissions will be heard 26-30th May.
